Moving to Posterous
After a number of years with DasBlog, I've decided to move to a new platform.
I wanted something simple with no management worries. That left out the WordPress platform that we use for our commercial blogs.
So I though either blogger or posterous. Blogger wouldn't import my old blog posts. I didn't want to lose all my old posts and I didn't spend days and days massaging the data into google's format.
So I tried posterous. I'd been meaning to play with it anyway. I gave it the information and it imported almost everything I cared about.
So the new blog is ready to roll. I'm still waitng for the A record to transfer via godaddy, but I think posterous looks promision.
If nothing else, at least I've got my data out of DasBlog.
